Hibiscus, Orange & Cinnamon Handmade Tortillas
2 cups masa harina
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1 cup Foy Orange Dream
½ cup Water
In a mixing bowl, combine your masa and liquids and knead till smooth and no longer sticky.
This dough can be reused if you place a damp paper towel or wet cheese cloth over the dough in the bowl to keep the masa from drying.
Roll the dough into a golf ball sized dough ball and place in your tortilla press and PRESS (but not too hard or else it’ll be too thin and break). If you don’t have a tortilla press then your best bet is rolling it out with a rolling pin and trying to get it as thin as possible.
Cook the tortillas on a skillet on high heat, making sure to flip at least 3 times until completion. Enjoy!
